NOM-001-HEADQUARTERS-2012

It establishes the specifications and guidelines of a technical nature that electrical installations must comply with in order to offer adequate safety conditions to people and their property, with regard to protection against:

 

  • electric shocks

  • thermal effects

  • Overcurrents

  • fault currents

  • surges

NOM-001-SEDE-2012 covers facilities intended for:

  • Industrial, commercial, housing, public or private properties, at any of the operating voltage levels.

  • Mobile homes, recreational vehicles, fairs, circuses and exhibitions, parking lots, workshops, farm buildings, marinas and docks.

  • User facilities located outside buildings.

  • Fixed wiring for telecommunications, signaling, control and the like.

  • Expansion and modifications to facilities.
